WARNING:
DynamIP v3.50 uses the new VB6 (SP1) controls and runtime library. Installing DynamIP will upgrade various controls on your system. This might cause conflicts with some of your existing software. Hence, if you want to play it safe you should check out the page Required Files to see which controls (OCX) and dynamic link libraries (DLL) will be upgraded and then make backup copies of your old files BEFORE you install DynamIP!

The following assumes that you currently have DynamIP v3.30 beta 2 installed (note that quick upgrade will not work with any other installed version of DynamIP!!!). You need the file DynamIPv350b3upgrade.zip to upgrade.

1. Rename the file  DynamIP.exe in your DynamIP installation directory (the default installation directory is ...\Program Files\DynamIP\) to DynamIP.old.
2. Rename the file  ftp4w32.dll in your system (or system32) directory to ftp4w32.old.
3. Copy the file DynamIPv350b3upgrade.zip to a temporary directory and unzip it.
4. Copy the (unzipped) file DynamIP.exe to the DynamIP installation directory (the default installation directory is ...\Program Files\DynamIP\).
5. Copy the (unzipped) file ftp4w32.dll to your system (or system32) directory.
6. Copy the (unzipped) file Readme.txt to the DynamIP installation directory (the default installation directory is ...\Program Files\DynamIP\ (overwrite the existing file).

The Readme file contains information about the new features of this version. If you need the full-blown HTML-help you must download the full installation DynamIP v3.50 beta 3 or connected to the DynamIP site at http://www.bigfoot.com/~DynamIP/ and read the info online.
